You want to be beautiful ... this is a self-portrait made of seven intaglio prints. Each of them was created from the same plate. The composition begins with graphics showing the artist's natural, untouched image. The next one is the act of wiping off imperfections and birthmarks, which leads to a complete erasure of the face. The last three elements of the composition show fruitless attempts to reconstruct the lost appearance.
